London Chocolate Tasting

Tasting chocolate is an art that involves each sense. Our London Chocolate Tasting session will make you discover the real flavor of high quality chocolate. Using an interactive approach, you will explore chocolate’s amazing complexities and levels of flavor. A typical tasting session includes: an introduction to chocolate, the origin of cacao beans, the percentage of cacao, the timing and manner of roasting, and the drying process; a tasting of various chocolate bars from single origins and estates (forastero, trinitario, criollo). Other options include: wine and chocolate pairing, truffles making, choco tapas and walking dinners.
For corporate events, we collaborate when he is available with Laurent Gerbaud, one of the most exciting Belgian chocolatiers of his generation. You can read our blog post about Laurent Gerbaud here. This also includes a tasting of chocolates Gerbaud : a unique range of Artisan chocolates handcrafted by  Laurent Gerbaud using the finest cocoa varieties from single origins and estates, combined with the purest of ingredients.

Another chocolate tasting event was organized pairing Gerbaud chocolates with various kinds of sakés. Read our post here. In addition, we have planned a two-day pop up shop event with presentation of the new creations of Laurent Gerbaud with a tasting and a private encounter with the chocolate maker.

We also organise London chocolate tasting during our Soho and Notting Hill food walks. We visit a selection of chocolate shops that represent the new vague of artisan British chocolate makers who use their creativity and knowledge to create first class inventive chocolate. In each of these shops, a selection of chocolates is presented in details and each participant has the opportunity to taste and select a few pieces.

This is an excellent event for networking in an enjoyable atmosphere. It can be organized in-house or at any particular venue, and is ideal for groups of 12-25 people.
